A new Australian tool brand launching with one product: a precision electric screwdriver kit in rose pink. I designed all of it: the logo, colours, packaging, everything that goes in the box, and the online shop.

The brief
Handee is a new Australian tool brand built around one product, a rose pink precision screwdriver kit called The Fine, I’ll Do It Kit. There was no logo, no packaging and no website yet.
The brief was a tool brand that looks nothing like the hardware aisle, for people who only need tools for the little jobs around the house.
What I did
A custom serif logo in merlot and pink, with a matching h monogram for the app icon, the box lid and the engraving on the case. A badge that reads “for the instructions optional crowd” carries the tone onto the box and the thank-you card.
The colours run from pale pink through rose to deep merlot, and the website uses them as one gradient from the top of the page to the bottom.
The box is print-ready at 65 by 47 by 190 mm, in two Pantone spot colours, with the dieline, bleed and compliance details all in place.
Then everything that comes with it: a compostable mailer that says “Careful. Contains competence.”, an A6 card with the three steps to get started, and a sheet of sixteen stickers.
The website includes the product page, gift guides for Christmas and housewarmings, how-to pages and a waitlist.
Where it’s at
The first run is being made, so for now the website collects sign-ups for the waitlist. Everything is ready for launch.
