The brief
Barrowmate is a waterproof, lockable cover that turns a builder’s wheelbarrow into mobile storage. It’s designed and made in Australia from tough HDPE that’s part recycled plastic, and fits most 100 litre builders barrows.
Because it’s a new kind of product, the website needed to show people what it is and how it works straight away.
What I did
A redesign built around the product. As you scroll, the homepage shows the cover in action, so people understand it without having to read much.
Its key features, the top lid, the waterproofing, the tough material and the fit, each get their own section, followed by everything people use it for: tools, site plans, first aid, an ice box, animal feed and more.
Then there’s the shop: a product page that answers questions about fit and weather, a store, and a checkout that’s easy to use on a phone.
